ILM Level 3 Team Leader Programme & Strategic Leader Level 5 Programme with a purpose of improving management capabilities


Spectrum Community Health CIC is a social enterprise that delivers a range of community and offender healthcare services on behalf of the NHS, Local Authority Public Health services and other partners.

Spectrum asked Aspire Development to design and deliver two ILM Level 3 Team Leader Programme & Strategic Leader Level 5 Programme with a purpose of improving management capabilities and enabling their employees to lead in new and improved ways.

What we did

We worked in partnership with Spectrum and our Leadership Development experts took time to understand their exact needs, whilst also discussing any challenges they faced now or will face in future.

Having established their requirements, Aspire Development then got to work with the Learning & Development team to design and implement Management Development Programmes aligned to their organisational needs.

Through a combination of best practice, theory and workplace application, individuals gained skills, knowledge, strategies and tools to make a positive difference to their performance, their teams’ performance, their relationships and their results.

Originally, these programmes were designed to be delivered face to face. As a result of Covid-19, we worked with the L&D team to redesign the programmes to be delivered online.  These programmes are delivered 100% online with virtual classrooms, Teams 1:1 sessions and online personal learning via Aspire’s Digital Learning Hub.


After the implementation of the programme we spoke to Julie Hall, Director of HR & OD at Spectrum.
